Terms of Use
Last updated: July 8, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Degigs. By creating an account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Purpose of Degigs
Degigs is a marketplace that connects electronic music artists with event organizers.
Once a booking is accepted and confirmed, a binding tripartite agreement is formed between:
- The Artist
- The Organizer
- Degigs, acting as the platform administrator and payment facilitator
Degigs facilitates bookings, payment processing and platform operations but does not provide artistic services or guarantee the performance itself. The Artist remains solely responsible for delivering the agreed services.
2. Service Fees
Service fees may apply to Artists and Organizers. All applicable fees are clearly displayed before a booking or subscription is confirmed.
Unless otherwise required by law or due to an error attributable to Degigs, service fees are non-refundable.
Degigs reserves the right to update its pricing structure from time to time. Any changes will not affect bookings or subscriptions that have already been confirmed.
3. Payments
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Once the Organizer completes payment, funds are securely held until they are released according to the applicable payout schedule.
The complete payment breakdown, including all applicable platform fees and taxes, is displayed before payment confirmation.
Payments may be delayed or temporarily held where additional identity verification, fraud prevention or legal compliance is required.
Degigs is not responsible for interruptions, delays or failures caused by third-party payment providers.
4. Eligibility and Verification
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.
- Degigs may request documentation or additional information to verify your identity or comply with legal obligations.
5. Modifications, Cancellations and Refunds
Booking modifications, cancellations and refunds are governed by the applicable Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy published on the platform.
Depending on the circumstances:
- Organizers may modify or cancel bookings in accordance with the applicable policies.
- Artists may be subject to cancellation penalties where applicable.
- Eligible refunds will be processed according to the published Refund Policy.
- Degigs reserves the right to cancel bookings in cases of fraud, force majeure or circumstances affecting platform security.
6. Artist Payment Terms
Once the Artist accepts a booking request, the Organizer may proceed with payment after both parties have agreed on the booking details.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Payouts are released to the Artist's connected Stripe account approximately 72 hours after the event, subject to fraud prevention, disputes or legal requirements.
The Artist receives the booking amount minus the applicable platform fees.
7. Organizer Payment Terms
